What can I expect at my first massage?

For your first visit, plan to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early. You will complete a health history and we will address any of your concerns and goals. Once a treatment plan is determined, the massage therapist will leave the room to allow you privacy to get on the table and make yourself comfortable. Befo

What can I expect at my first massage?

For your first visit, plan to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early. You will complete a health history and we will address any of your concerns and goals. Once a treatment plan is determined, the massage therapist will leave the room to allow you privacy to get on the table and make yourself comfortable. Before re-entering the massage therapist will knock on the door to ensure that you are ready for them to enter the room. 


What time should I arrive?

Your appointment will begin promptly at your scheduled time of service. If you arrive late, we will do our best to accomodate your full time however, out of repect for our other clients' time, we may only be able to provide service during your scheduled time.

When should I NOT schedule a massage therapy session?

If you have a fever, a history of thrombosis or phlebitis, acute infections; you should refrain from scheduling massage therapy session until you are cleared by your physician to receive massage.If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please do not schedule a massage therapy session.If you have ANY acute conditions, that is ANY condition that is of abrupt onset, rapidly progressive and in need of urgent care, please do not schedule a massage therapy session.


Do I have to be completely unclothed on the massage table?

You can undress to your level of comfort. You WILL be properly draped  during your entire session. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.How often should I schedule massage therapy sessions?For stress reduction or very minor issues you may have, once a month massage therapy session is recommended. If you have higher stress levels in your life or any pain, you would benefit from a massage therapy session every 2 weeks.The IMPORTANT thing to remember is: REGULAR, not sporadic massage therapy sessions will help your body and mind take full advantage of the benefits that occurs when REGULAR massage therapy sessions are incorporated.  


What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Please allow 24 hours to reschedule or cancel your appointment.A credit card will be used to secure your appointment at the time of booking.Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the full price of the service charged.
Is tipping required?Tips are never expected but always appreciated if you are happy with the service you received.

Are suggestive, inappropriate innuendos, or inappropriate comments of any kind OK to ask or say during my massage therapy session?

NO. As a professional licensed massage therapist, ANY inappropriate energy or activity of any kind, before, during or after your massage session will not be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior of any kind, as determined by the therapist, will result in immediate termination of your session, and you will be responsible for payment of the full session. It may also result in notifying of the proper authorities.
